RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS

RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS If you are a research participant, we collect the information which you have consented to give us when you agreed to participate in a Consumer Fluent research activity. This will vary according to the research objectives however you can opt out of giving any personal data at any time. We only collect the minimum information we need to conduct our research.  Please also refer to the respective consent forms of the specific market research projects for more detailed information.  The consent you may have been asked to give and given will specifically relate to the research activity which you have agreed to take part in, clearly and full explained at the time when we ask for your consent.  You will have given your consent either via an opt-in option online or a physically signed document. For any child under the age of 18 years old, we always get consent from a parent or guardian and do not seek to obtain consent from any child directly. We aggregate your data with the data of other participants and then only use the aggregated data for analysis and reporting purposes in the course of the market research activity.

By gathering and analysing research and data, voluntarily given by consumers, the insight which this research and data provides helps businesses to improve the products and services they offer. We use various techniques to collect the candidate’s opinions and reactions in the research including the use of video or audio recordings which enable the researcher to analyse non-verbal cues such as body language and facial expressions in lieu of articulated answers.
We may use your details to contact you by email, SMS, on the phone or through the post to arrange your participation in the research. These details are usually provided by a recruiter who will also gain your consent for us to contact you. We will not use your contact information to send marketing communications.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH We do not share any personal data with our clients. We share your personal information only with those persons who need to handle it in order to fulfil the research services for the client, and only within the limitations and manner specified by you when you gave us your consent. We may, for example, provide personal data to agents, contractors or partners for hosting our databases and applications, for data processing services, or to send you information that you requested. We will only share with or make accessible such data to external service providers to the extent required for the respective purpose. This data may not be used by them for any other purposes, in particular not for their own or third party purposes. Consumer Fluent’s external service providers are contractually bound by us to respect the confidentiality of your personal data and it can only be used by those 3rd party companies and individuals to perform certain tasks contributing to our services on our behalf within the framework of data processing agreements.
